SYDC is a year old!

Good morning everyone! Today marks SYDC's 1st Annivesary! Am still thinking of how to commemorate rate it, because most probably you do not wanna just have it at a Daimokukai and just call it off right =X

Haha, will let you guys know soon! In the mean time, HAPPY 1st Anniversary everyone! Lets continue to make efforts to push SYDC to even higher platforms and reach out to people from out FAITH and DANCE! =)

Inspired and Touched

What do we mean by inspire and touch people, feel for each other when we perform? Or simply said, Itaidoshin? Watch this.

I feel that they've got so much Soul in their movement! Goosebumps!!
SYDC! Let's put in more effort to grow and inspire!

Breaking Barriers Carnival Performance

Hellooo ~ ~

Hope everyone is feeling well & having strong lifeforce everyday!

As shared during last Sat Training, we need to always understand the objective/purpose of each performance so that we can bring meaning to our dance.

Breaking Barriers Carnival Performance

Date: 14th Nov 2009
Time: 10am to 930pm (SYDC Performance@ 6pm)
Venue: Ngee Ann City Plaza

We will be performing for the Society of Physically Disabled (SPD), in which SSA has been supporting since 1994.

Basically, SPD's mission is about working towards the integration of physical disabled people into our mainstream society. Through programmes that encompass rehabilitation, employment, training, education, consultation and assessment in assistive technology, day care, and social service support, they work in partnership with people with physical disabilities to maximise their potential and to help them to be self-reliant and independent.

This carnival is one of the donation drives organised in conjuction with the International Day of Person with Disabilities (3 Dec). The Carnival also aims to share information on & create awareness on the disabled community. For every $2 donation, you can look forward to getting yourself a balloon sculpture, playing the fishing game, getting a chance to win fabulous prizes as well as taking control of a powered wheelchair to complete an obstacle course.

Having said so much, pls take note on the following on 14 Nov 09:

230pm - SYDC meet at TBRH with the rest
415pm - Chartered Bus will fetch us to Orchard
500pm - Reached Ngee Ann City Plaza
5pm-6pm - Dinner & Get Ready

Yes, we are left with only 1 rehearsal on Friday, but with strong faith & prayers, SYDC can do it... do it... do it... oh do it ! ~ >,<

"DYNAMIC growth begins with a positive determination. An unflagging effort is the key to breaking through our self-limitations. Faith is a never-ending process of challenging ourselves." ~ Daisaku Ikeda

Costume for 14 Nov & Oschool Recital Tix

Hey y'all, for the costume on 14 Nov, the top to be royal blue and bottom is grey long pants, accessories to be black. As for the top, as suggested by Jeremy, we will try to get from AAA tee. So i need everyone's help to make it quick in reverting back to your respective Contact ICs. The faster we do, the higher chance of getting the Tshirts.

As for the recital tix, it is out and selling at $25, $20 and $15. There are seats allocated for each tix so need to hurry.

Thats all from me! =)
